.COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
At Sovereign Deed, we intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information. In general, you can visit this site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. In order to deliver the highest level and type of service you expect from us, there are times, however, when we may collect both personal and non-personal information from you. It is our intent to let you know before we collect information from you on the Internet. Information we collect will be entered into our contact database. It will be used periodically to provide you with information about industry news, product information and offers from Sovereign Deed and its partners.
Personal Information Collected
If you choose to give us personal information via the Site, we collect basic contact information (such as your name, mailing and e-mail address) and some demographic information (such as your zip code, age and gender). The information request form may change from time to time. It is our intent to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes and delete your information from our database. We keep track of the domains from which people visit us. We analyze this data for trends and statistics, and then we discard it.
Traffic Data Collected
When you visit the Site, we automatically receive records and information on our server logs from your browser such as: IP address; (ii) domain server; (iii) access times; (iv) referring Web site addresses; and (v) the Internet service provider ("ISP") used to access the Site in order to perform troubleshooting (i.e. to help diagnose problems with our server) or administer our Site.
We have implemented appropriate technical and managerial procedures to maintain information that is accurate, current, and complete. If you provide us notice that your personal information is inaccurate, we will make a sincere effort to update and correct such information in a timely manner.
Confidential Information
Sovereign Deed does not want to receive confidential or proprietary information from you through our Site. Please note that any information or material sent to Sovereign Deed will be deemed NOT to be confidential. By sending Sovereign Deed any information or material, you grant Sovereign Deed an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit, and distribute such information or material, and you also agree that Sovereign Deed is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques that you send us for any purpose. However, we will not release your name or otherwise publicize the fact that you submitted materials or other information to us unless: (a) we ask your permission to use your name; or (b) we first notify you that the materials or other information you submit to a particular part of this site will be published or otherwise used with your name on it; or (c) we are required to do so by law or regulation.
E-mail and Direct Mail Marketing
We engage in e-mail and direct mail marketing. E-mail or direct mail address lists for these marketing campaigns are compiled from information voluntarily provided by you and based upon information gathered from Sovereign Deed. WE DO NOT SEND OR SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF UNSOLICITED COMMERCIAL E-MAIL (A.K.A. "SPAM").
In order to receive an e-mail message that is part of a marketing campaign created by Sovereign Deed, you must have chosen to receive e-mail from us. To further ensure we have your consent, we make sure each e-mail we send you presents an additional opportunity to "opt-out" of receiving future e-mails. Thus, if you are not interested in receiving future e-mails from us, you may choose to opt-out.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to Sovereign Deed's services and products, such as service announcements, administrative messages, etc. that are considered part of your Sovereign Deed account or relationship, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
INFORMATION USE AND SHARING
Generally
Your information will be used to market opportunities to you and to inform you of products or services available from Sovereign Deed.
We will not rent, sell or share any personal information we gather from the Site to third parties except as indicated below or to provide information regarding the products or services you have requested.
There are other circumstances where your information may be shared with other parties for non-marketing purposes. The following describes the ways that your information may be disclosed in the normal course of business to provide our services.
Partners
We provide information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Sovereign Deed under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Sovereign Deed communicate with you about offers from us and or our partners. However, these companies do not have an independent right to use, share or sell your personal information.
Other Web sites and Your Privacy
The Site contains links to other Web sites. Once you select a link that takes you to another Web site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the Web site containing that page. Please note that these other Web sites may have privacy policies that differ from those of Sovereign Deed in the level of security, use of cookies and use of personally identifiable information. We have no control over any personal information you choose to provide those Web sites and Sovereign Deed is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.
Third Party Processors
We may occasionally send information about members of our database to third-party processors ("Third Party Processors") to organize, administer, process, append and/or analyze our data on our behalf. We may also use Third Party Processors to deliver offline materials to you. All such Third Party Processors are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Sovereign Deed, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Legal Requests/Questionable Activities
Sovereign Deed cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, such as: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights, and to help protect you from bad actors. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, email address, usage history, IP address, access times and fraud complaints without a subpoena. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, email, IP address, access times and company name to the appropriate authorities or other persons under confidentiality arrangements, as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
We also believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving personal threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Sovereign Deed's Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law or regulation.
Sale/Merger
We reserve the right to transfer information about you if Sovereign Deed is acquired by another company (whether in a stock sale, a sale of substantially all of Sovereign Deed's assets, or otherwise) or merged with another company.
Limitations on Privacy
Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the Site. Therefore, although we exceed industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
CHILDREN
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Sovereign Deed's services are not designed or intended to attract children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13.
COOKIES
We reserve the right to use "cookies" for the purposes of facilitating an automatic log-in process for the Site. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, we could use them to store an automatic log-in ID so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience all of the interactive and convenience features that Sovereign Deed offers or Web sites you visit.
SECURITY
We are aware of Internet users' concerns about the privacy of their information. We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Member information is stored on servers protected by firewall, system-level and database-level security inaccessible to third parties. Access to our database is limited to specified Sovereign Deed employees and is carefully monitored.
LEGAL DISCLAIMER
We disclaim and you agree that we will not be liable to you for any damages caused by acts or events beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, fires, floods, acts of terrorism, wars, civil disturbances, sabotage, accidents, labor disputes, governmental actions, and failures or delays of transportation that result in our disclosure of your personally identifiable information.
POLICY UPDATES AND SITE MAINTENANCE
We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, update, change, modify or revise this Privacy Policy, the Site, or our services simply by posting such change, update or modification on the Site. Any such addition, update, change, modification or revision will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. If Sovereign Deed materially changes how we use your personal information, we will notify you via e-mail.
