Barrett H. Moore, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Barrett Moore is a successful entrepreneur, founding a number of companies over the last 30 years. These organizations have created substantial value for shareholders in a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, software development and professional services. Mr. Moore's creativity is reflected in the 400-plus patent applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. To date, he has been awarded more than 50 U.S. and counterpart-patents.

Prior to Sovereign Deed, Mr. Moore's venture, Triple Canopy, commercialized the market for specialized military services. Within a few short years, it generated revenues of $500 million. As the founding CEO and largest shareholder, Mr. Moore and his team were instrumental in positioning Triple Canopy at the forefront of what has become a profitable $4 billion sub-segment of the Private Military Contractor (PMC) market. Triple Canopy assembled the largest group of former Special Operations personnel from the U.S. Army's 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (Delta Force) to work for a private enterprise. The talented team Mr. Moore assembled quickly became a leading provider of services to government agencies, including the Department of State, the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency. Today, Triple Canopy continues to excel under the leadership of the individuals Mr. Moore recruited to the organization. In the fall of 2005, Mr. Moore sold his interests in the Triple Canopy group of companies.

Prior to Triple Canopy, Mr. Moore founded Trifus N.A., LLC, a successful managed services company in the corporate training market. Trifus provides online learning development and data center outsourcing services to leading companies such as Baxter, PeopleSoft/Oracle, Anheuser-Busch, Williams-Sonoma and S.C. Johnson. Mr. Moore continues to serve as a member of the Trifus Board.

Mr. Moore served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army, specializing in issues related to the non-proliferation of biological weapons and related weapons of mass destruction (WMD). After completion of his service, Mr. Moore continued his entrepreneurial activities and founded several organizations, including Duramitt (AMI) and Knight International (an overseas based manufacturer and trading company, respectively).

Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois.
