Dear Members, Shareholders, Supporters and Friends:

Building a company takes risk, hard work and perseverance. Building an entirely new industry is an even greater challenge. Sovereign Deed is doing both.

As Sovereign Deed enters its third year of operation and moves rapidly to expand its service offering, it has unfortunately become a political target. Even while the company works to provide its clients ground-breaking life-critical services in the face of disaster, an anti-establishment group seeks to disrupt these objectives by trying to undermine Sovereign Deed’s effort to construct a National Response facility in the State of Michigan. They use unscrupulous and defamatory tactics to promote their agendas. Their bias is evident. As is too common with these elements, truth is the first casualty.

While considering the motivations of this faction bear in mind the following:

  • Disasters threaten lives. The population remains woefully unaware of the potential magnitude or probability of such threats. (For example, spend some time researching the potential for a pandemic or the detonation of a dirty nuke).
  • America has the best EMS system in the world with thousands of dedicated professionals providing indispensable services to our citizens. Yet, this system is designed for events affecting individuals. We are dangerously unprepared for a disaster that strikes an entire community. (See, e.g., the Council of Foreign Relations publication entitled, Emergency Responders: Drastically Underfunded, Dangerously Unprepared).
  • The federal government consistently stresses that individuals need to be responsible for their own well-being. The government cannot provide immediate disaster relief on a community-wide scale.
  • The Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) Act acknowledges the need for private sector assistance in the overall disaster relief effort.
  • The federal government, as well as every state in the Union, currently operates under severe budgetary constraints.
  • Ninety-eight percent of Americans interviewed have not taken the advice of Department of Homeland Security which urges every American to maintain at least 72 hours worth of food and water at all times.
  • Sovereign Deed represents the future of effective disaster response. It is Sovereign Deed, not the government, that will help you to prepare to protect the lives of your family, friends and co-workers.
  • Sovereign Deed offers a variety of affordable solutions with prices starting at less than $500. Our job is to make you and your loved ones safer.
  • Sovereign Deed is not a private military contractor (PMC) and does not, at this time, provide services to any local, state or federal agency. Moreover, Sovereign Deed proposes to create real jobs in the state of Michigan, which currently has the highest rate of unemployment in the entire country.
  • Each new industry has emerged in the last century has had its detractors. Generally, these are individuals that never risked anything, never built anything, and never created a single job anywhere.
  • Over 50% of the population of the US now lives within one of the 20 largest metropolitan areas.
  • Consider: If you live in a large metropolitan area and disaster strikes, to whom will you turn? Will your local EMS have the capacity to respond to you individually? Will FEMA? Where will you get food? Water? Medicine? Cash? Transportation? Shelter? …. One need only study the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and 9/11 to understand the challenge.
  • Our nation spends over $500 billion per year in cumulative insurance premiums to protect inanimate objects such as houses, cars and belongings. Comparatively, we spend little to protect life itself. Isn’t it time to start?
